Food for Soul

A lot of water has flown under the Gomti Barrage since my last post. Not that Bheja ne shor nahin kiya…just that routine (read mundane) things like project, promotion, posting etc took a heavy toll on life and colours like film, fiction, blog etc had to take a backseat. Lost one important year of life in the process… but got promoted, working still in Lucknow and an important official project was successfully completed.

Now its time to rejuvenate. So writing a post without any subject and planning to watch a movie in the theatre. Wifey sensed the gloom and bought me Arvind Adiga’s ‘The White Tiger’. Watched ‘Knock Out’ today on TV. Its good, entertaining thriller with a message… very much like ‘A Wednesday’.

Waiting for Kartik to end… today is the last day. Nothing is better for a gloomy soul than a plate of hot biryani. Let us eat to that.
